Every tool here started as a page in a notebook. The budget calculator came from tracking nine years of receipts across the Caucasus, the Balkans, Mexico and Japan. The packing list came from repacking a 38 litre bag at airport gates. The daily budget tool came from running out of money in Tbilisi with eleven days left.
The numbers behind the cost tools are planning figures based on real spending, not marketing brochures. Use them to build a plan, then check the live prices before you book.
